The CEO, Prof Julius Tanui, joins the Head of Public Service and Chief of Staff Mr. Felix Kosgey for the launch of National Tree Growing season at Bomas, Ngong Forest. Accompanying Mr. Kosgey was Cabinet Affairs Secretary Ms. Mercy Wanjau. Board Director Ms. Rose Ombaki represented the Board of the Agency while a team of staff members were led by the CEO in planting over 15,000 trees. This is part of the rallying call to plant 15 billion trees by the year 2032. Today was the official launch of the 500 million trees targeted to be planted between now and end of December during the short rains.
