Chairman Hon. Rashid Echesa together with Board Directors Mr. Elisha Busienei, Michael Waititu, and Irene Kamau inspected the 30KM electric fence erected by the Agency in Maasai Mau Water Tower. The Water Tower was reclaimed in 2018 and rehabilitated in 2019. Phase I fencing started in 2021 and is now complete.
The Chairman noted that the fence is well-maintained and natural regeneration is taking place inside the Water Tower. The inspection started from the Chebitet area all the way to Tendwet and Sierra Leone. The Chairman appreciated the good progress made in conservating the water tower and committed to mobilizing more resources to complete the remaining 89K dubbed phase II.
