The Chairman Hon. Rashid Echesa joined the Prime Cabinet Secretary Dr. Musalia Mudavadi and CS for Environment and Forestry Hon. Soipan Tuya at Nairobi Arboretum for the launch of the Ministry’s 2023 to 2027 Strategic Plan. The event was also attended by several dignitaries led by Principal Secretaries Eng. Festus Ng’eno (Environment and Climate Change) and Mr. Gitonga Mugambi (Forestry), KWTA CEO Prof. Julius Tanui, CEOs of various SAGAS within the Ministry and representatives of development partners. The Strategic Plan embodies Kenya’s shared vision of a world where the environment is protected, climate stable, and forests thrive. It reflects the Ministry’s determination to address pressing issues facing the planet and build a resilient and sustainable environment for current and future generations.
