Some key characteristics of water towers are upland areas that support reception, infiltration, percolation and storage of rainfall gradually releasing it into a drainage basin. water towers vary a lot in terms of size, shape and drainage pattern. @WaterTowersKe

Endau Hill Water tower is located in Kitui county ,it is the source of about 17 permanent springs .Water from the springs are piped into tanks at the foot of the hill for use
by the community .Some of the springs are kausya and ikituku .Rivers in kitui flow into Enziu River.
